What is your position at Koru?
What do you like about working at Koru?
We work in a creative environment that promotes thoughtful design and a respect for the environment that drives our passion for sustainable and healthy design solutions.
What are you working on at the moment?
About a dozen projects ranging from modest extensions to large dwellings and a new cafe building.
What is your favourite project that you’ve worked on this year?
The replacement for the Pavilion Tea House in Hove Park.
Do you have a favourite project that Koru have done?
It would have to be my own house!
Tell us about your interests and hobbies…
BMF for fitness, cycling to get around the city, walking in the mountains and snowboarding for fun. I enjoy adrenalin sports – bungie jumps, zip-lining and I want to do a parachute jump!
Any interesting facts about yourself?
I have travelled through more than 70 countries, I have climbed Africa’s highest mountain, I’m a pescatarian and I’m also half Swiss.
What does your weekend usually consist of?
A mixture of chores, dad taxi service, table tennis, walks in the countryside and going to the movies or out for a meal.
